Convocation marks the start of your academic journey at 91ºÚÁÏÍø. This special tradition acts as the official welcoming ceremony for new and transfer students where they learn about university traditions, listen to welcoming words from the university chancellor, and participate in the 91ºÚÁÏÍø pinning ceremony — one of our favorite and longest-standing traditions. Students also receive a unique 91ºÚÁÏÍø t-shirt, specific to your incoming class. All incoming students should plan to attend Convocation.
When: Saturday August 22, 2026 @ 1:00 P.M.
Where: Swinney Recreation Center
Student T-shirt pickup: Students living on campus will receive their t-shirts upon move in. Commuter students can pickup their t-shirts the week prior to classes beginning - check back soon for more information!
Faculty/Staff T-shirt ordering and pickup: T-shirts will be provided to Roo Welcome volunteers only. T-shirts will be first come first served.
