University Fees

Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Semesters

We update the list of fees when the UM Board of Curators announces the fees for the most recent semesters. In the event of a discrepancy between this list and the fee approved by the board, the fee approved by the board applies.

Student Life Fee

The Student Life Fee is a mandatory fee for all students enrolled in a traditional degree program including non degree seeking students, visiting students, and cross campus enrolled students in which students are primarily scheduled in a classroom with online and blended courses offered as an option. A traditional degree program that switches to an online format due to circumstances out of the university's control is still considered a traditional degree program.  This fee is mandatory and cannot be waived.
